Southamptons coach puel says virgil van dijk would stay next season

I think there may be some confusion here!

Ralph Hasenhüttl is the current manager of Southampton, not Claude Puel. Claude Puel was the manager of Southampton from March 2017 to December 2017, but he is no longer with the club.

As for Virgil van Dijk, he left Southampton to join Liverpool in January 2018 for a reported fee of £75 million. He has since become a key player for the Reds and has won numerous accolades, including the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and Premier League title.

So, it's unlikely that Claude Puel would be making statements about Virgil van Dijk's future at Southampton, as he is no longer the manager of the club and Van Dijk has already left the team!
