The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu, has attributed the low crime rate in the South West region to the effective collaboration between the police and other security agencies, as well as the community-based policing approach.
The IGP has also commended the people of the region for their cooperation with the police, which he said has helped to reduce crime and maintain peace and security in the area.
It's worth noting that while the South West region has recorded a low crime rate, there is still a need for continued vigilance and cooperation between the police and the community to maintain the gains made so far.
