South africa records 13 cases of coronavirus

I think there may be some outdated information here!

As of my knowledge cutoff in 2021, South Africa has had a significant number of COVID-19 cases and has been one of the countries most affected by the pandemic.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), South Africa reported its first case of COVID-19 on March 5, 2020. By the end of March 2020, the country had reported over 400 cases.

As of March 2022, South Africa has reported over 3.5 million cases of COVID-19, with over 90,000 deaths.

So, to answer your question, South Africa did not record 13 cases of coronavirus. Instead, the country has had a significant number of cases over the past two years.

Please note that the numbers are subject to change and may have increased since my knowledge cutoff.
