Title: "New Beginning"

Text: Isaiah 43:18-19 (NKJV)

Introduction:

My dear brethren, I want to welcome you to this special service today. As we gather here, I want to remind you that God is a God of new beginnings. He is a God who specializes in turning things around, in giving people a fresh start, and in making all things new. And that's what we're going to talk about today. We're going to talk about the power of new beginnings.

The Problem of Stagnation:

You know, sometimes in life, we can get stuck. We can get stuck in a rut, and we can't seem to move forward. We can get stuck in a situation, and we can't seem to get out of it. And when that happens, we can start to feel like we're not making progress, like we're not moving forward. And that's when we need a new beginning.

The Promise of God:

But the good news is that God is a God who promises to give us a new beginning. He says in Isaiah 43:18-19, "Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." God is saying, "I'm going to do a new thing in your life. I'm going to make a way where there is no way. I'm going to bring you out of the wilderness and into a place of abundance."

The Power of Forgiveness:

Now, before we can experience this new beginning, we need to deal with the past. We need to forgive ourselves and others for any mistakes that have been made. We need to let go of any guilt, shame, or condemnation that may be holding us back. Because when we hold onto the past, we can't move forward. We can't experience the new beginning that God has for us.

The Power of Faith:

But faith is the key to experiencing this new beginning. We need to believe that God is able to do a new thing in our lives. We need to trust that He is able to make a way where there is no way. And we need to have faith that He is able to bring us out of the wilderness and into a place of abundance.

The Blessings of a New Beginning:

So what are the blessings of a new beginning? Well, my dear brethren, the blessings of a new beginning are many. When we experience a new beginning, we can expect to see:

• A fresh start: A new beginning gives us a fresh start, a chance to start over, to make new choices, and to create a new future.
• A new perspective: A new beginning gives us a new perspective, a new way of looking at things, and a new way of thinking.
• A new sense of purpose: A new beginning gives us a new sense of purpose, a new reason for living, and a new direction for our lives.
• A new sense of hope: A new beginning gives us a new sense of hope, a hope that things are going to get better, and a hope that our future is bright.

Conclusion:

So my dear brethren, I want to encourage you today to seek a new beginning. Seek a fresh start, a new perspective, a new sense of purpose, and a new sense of hope. Because when we experience a new beginning, we can expect to see the blessings of God in our lives. We can expect to see His power, His presence, and His provision. And we can expect to see our lives transformed, to see us become the people that God has called us to be.

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come to you today seeking a new beginning. We come to you seeking a fresh start, a new perspective, a new sense of purpose, and a new sense of hope. We ask that you would forgive us for our mistakes, and that you would give us a new heart, a new mind, and a new spirit. We ask that you would make a way where there is no way, and that you would bring us out of the wilderness and into a place of abundance. We pray this in Jesus' name. Amen.
