American superstar Janet Jackson has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class of 2019.
Jackson got inducted along six others including Stevie Nicks, Def Leppard, Radiohead, the Cure, Roxy Music, and the Zombies.
Janet Jackson confirmed this news on her Instagram page on Friday with a goodwill message to her fan for their support.
Taking to her Twitter handle, Jackson wrote; “We did it, guys… Thank U all for the love and support, #Rockhall2019.
Her induction comes at her third time as a nominee. While she became eligible for the rock hall in 2007, she was not nominated until 2016.
The Rock Hall of Fame is in recognition of the best-known and most influential artists, producers, engineers, and other notable figures who have had some major influence on the development of rock and roll.
