Qpr playmaker eze can fit into premier leagues top six clubs ferdinand
A bold claim from Rio Ferdinand!
While Eberechi Eze is an excellent player, I'm not sure if he's quite at the level to fit into the top six clubs in the Premier League. However, I can understand why Rio Ferdinand might think that.
Eze has been impressive for Queens Park Rangers (QPR) in the Championship, scoring 6 goals and providing 8 assists in 24 appearances this season. He's a creative midfielder with excellent vision, passing range, and dribbling skills. His ability to control the tempo of the game and pick out passes has drawn comparisons to players like Kevin De Bruyne and James Maddison.
That being said, the top six clubs in the Premier League are typically filled with world-class players who have consistently performed at the highest level. To fit into those teams, Eze would need to demonstrate that he can:
- Consistently perform at a high level against top-tier opposition.
- Adapt to the physicality and intensity of the Premier League.
- Develop his game to become more well-rounded, potentially adding goals and defensive contributions to his game.
While Eze has shown flashes of brilliance, he's still a Championship player at the moment. He would need to make significant strides to prove himself at the top level.
That being said, it's not impossible for Eze to make the jump. If he can continue to impress in the Championship and potentially earn a move to a top-six club, he might have a chance to prove himself. However, it's a tall order, and he would need to work extremely hard to reach that level.
What do you think, do you agree with Rio Ferdinand's assessment, or do you think Eze needs more time to develop before making the jump to the Premier League's top six?
