Psalm 91 good news bible
Here is Psalm 91 in the Good News Bible (GNB):
Psalm 91
You who live in the shelter of the Most High, who set your feet on the heights, you will say to the Lord, "My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."
He will rescue you from the snare of the birdcatcher and from the deadly trap.
His loving care will watch over you, protecting you from harm, and keeping you safe from the trap.
You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the destruction that wastes at noon.
A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.
You will only observe it with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.
The Lord will keep you safe from all harm; he will keep your life safe in his care. He will keep you safe in his shelter, in secret places where he hides us from trouble.
You will not fear the storm or dread the arrow's flight. You will not be afraid of the night or the darkness that comes with it.
Fear will not come near you, nor will destruction come near your tent.
For the Lord is your refuge, and you will not be afraid of the terror that comes in the night. The Lord is your shelter, and he will keep you safe from harm.
