Psalm 86 good news bible
Here is Psalm 86 in the Good News Bible (GNB):
Psalm 86
A prayer of David
-
Lord, you are my God. I will praise you and thank you; I will keep your laws.
-
I will thank you, Lord, with all my heart, and tell of all your wonders.
-
I will be glad and sing your praises, for you have seen my troubles. You have seen how I suffer, and you know how I feel.
-
Be merciful to me, Lord, for I am weak. Heal me, Lord, for my body is sick.
-
My enemies speak evil of me, and they are strong. But you, Lord, are my helper. You are my rock and my savior.
-
Do not be slow to answer me, Lord. I beg you, do not hide your face from me. Do not turn away from me, or I will be like those who go down to the pit.
-
Listen to me, Lord, and answer me, for I am poor and needy.
-
Have mercy on me, Lord, for you are my God. Show me your love, and save me.
-
Lord, you are my God, and I will praise you. You are my God, and I will thank you.
-
You are my God, and I will bless you, and I will praise your name forever.
-
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love will last forever.
