Psalm 70 good news bible

Here is Psalm 70 in the Good News Bible (GNB):

Psalm 70

1. May God be my help, my Savior, my shield in battle.
2. May God, who is my hope, rescue me from the hands of my enemies, lift me up from those who rise up against me.
3. May God, who is my Savior, bless the king and answer him when he calls.
4. May God be with him and bless him, and may he be lifted up forever.
5. May God bless him with blessings from heaven above and blessings from the depths below, blessings on the head of his enemies, and not a single fault to be found among his descendants.
6. May they fear him all day long, and may all who put their trust in him be blessed.

This psalm is a prayer for help and protection, asking God to be a source of strength and deliverance in times of trouble. It also expresses a desire for the king to be blessed and lifted up, and for God's favor to be upon him and his descendants.
