Psalm 68 good news bible

Here is Psalm 68 in the Good News Bible (GNB):

Psalm 68

1. God is king of all the earth. He is the one who rules over the nations.
2. God sits on his throne in heaven, and all the people of the earth are silent before him.
3. He is the one who is praised by his people, the one who is the strength of his people.
4. The praise of God is in all the earth, the words of God are pure words.
5. He sends his laws to the earth, his words to the people of the world.
6. The heavens were made by his hand, the earth was formed by his command.
7. He chose the tribe of Jacob, the people of Israel as his own.
8. He remembered his holy promise, the oath he made to his servant Abraham.
9. He led his people out of Egypt, like a flock of sheep he led them.
10. He led them to the place he had prepared, to the mountain where he would be worshiped.
11. The Lord gave his people the land of Canaan, the land he had promised to their ancestors.
12. He divided the land among the tribes, and the people of Israel lived there.
13. But the Lord is not pleased with the wicked, he will not tolerate the wicked.
14. Be still, and know that I am God, I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!
15. The Lord of hosts is with us, the God of Jacob is our refuge.
16. Come and see the mighty works of God, the amazing things he has done.
17. He is the one who is the salvation of his people, the one who is the deliverer of his people.
18. God is the one who is the king of the earth, the one who is the ruler of the nations.
19. God, the king of the earth, will reign over the nations.
20. The Lord will reign forever, your God, O Zion, for all generations.
21. Praise God, you people of Zion, praise God, you people of Jerusalem.
22. Praise God, you people of Judah, praise God, you people of Israel.
23. He has strengthened the bars of your gates, he has blessed your people within you.
24. He has given you the blessings of the heavens, the blessings of the ancient mountains.
25. He has given you the blessings of the eternal hills, the blessings of the hills where the dew falls.
26. He has given you the blessings of the earth, the blessings of the deep below.
27. He has given you the blessings of the sea, the blessings of the rivers.
28. He has given you the blessings of the grain, the blessings of the new wine.
29. He has given you the blessings of the sheep, the blessings of the cattle.
30. He has given you the blessings of the children, the blessings of the womb.
31. He has given you the blessings of the young, the blessings of the old.
32. He has given you the blessings of the earth, the blessings of the fullness of the sea.
33. The harvest of the earth is his, and all that is in it.
34. The people of the earth belong to him, and all who live in it.
35. For God loves justice, and he will not abandon his people.
36. He will be the judge of the people, he will be the judge of the nations.
37. He will be the judge of the sea, he will be the judge of the rivers.
38. He will be the judge of the mountains, he will be the judge of the hills.
39. He will be the judge of the people, he will be the judge of the nations.
40. He will be the judge of the earth, he will be the judge of the world.
41. The Lord will reign forever, your God, O Zion, for all generations.
