Psalm 36 good news bible

Psalm 36

1. Sinners cry out for help, for they are far from God. They are weak and helpless, and their lives are like a fading flower.
2. They say to God, "Don't pay attention to them!" But God hears their prayers.
3. The wicked are full of pride and arrogance. They don't care about what God thinks.
4. They run and rush about, like a lion that has caught its prey. They crush their victims and then devour them.
5. But God is the one who saves the righteous. He is their rock, their shield, and their savior.
6. God is the one who is always fair and just. He is the God of salvation, and he is always ready to help.
7. God is the one who is kind and merciful. He is the God of love, and he is always ready to forgive.
8. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His love is forever, and his faithfulness will never end.
9. Give thanks to the God of gods, For his love is forever, and his faithfulness will never end.
10. Trust in the Lord, and do what is right. Live honestly and be fair.
11. The Lord's love is forever, and his faithfulness will never end. He will give you his salvation and his honor.
12. The Lord will bless you and keep you safe. He will bless your coming and going, now and forever.
