A Prayer for Victory

  1. The Lord answers when I call to him; he rescues me from all my troubles.
  2. He is my rock, my savior, my shield; he is my stronghold, my refuge, my savior.
  3. God is my helper, so I will have no fear; what can mere mortals do to me?
  4. At the time of my greatest need, he will answer me and set me free.
  5. He is my shield, my honor; he saves the upright and keeps the blameless safe.
  6. As for God, his way is perfect; the Lord's word is flawless.
  7. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him.
  8. O Lord, God of my salvation, I cry out to you by day and night.
  9. May my prayer come before you; turn your ear to my cry.
  10. May my cry come before you; answer me, O God, the God of my salvation.
