Here is Psalm 102 in the Good News Bible (GNB):

Psalm 102

A prayer of an afflicted person

  1. Lord, listen to my prayer! Listen to my cry for help!
  2. In your presence, I am helpless, like a bird in the hands of a hunter.
  3. My enemies taunt me, and those who hate me are strong.
  4. They say, "God has abandoned him; he is no longer his concern."
  5. But you, Lord, are my hope; I will praise you all my life,
  6. for you have lifted me up and not let my enemies rejoice over me.
  7. You have helped me in my distress; you have not abandoned me to the will of my foes.
  8. I will tell of your faithfulness and praise you all my life,
  9. for you have lifted me up and not let my enemies rejoice over me.
  10. You have clothed me with strength and given me a new heart.
  11. You have not given me up to death, nor have you let your servant faint.
  12. You have given me hope when I was losing heart, and you have lifted me up when I was faint.
  13. I will sing of your love and justice; I will praise you all my life.
  14. I will tell of your greatness to all my people; I will praise you all my life.
  15. You have done great things, Lord; you have done mighty deeds.
  16. You have given me wisdom and knowledge; you have given me a heart to understand.
  17. You have given me ears to hear and eyes to see,
  18. so that I may look at all your mighty deeds.
  19. I will meditate on your mighty deeds, and I will tell of your greatness.
  20. You have done great things, Lord; you have done mighty deeds.
  21. You have given me wisdom and knowledge; you have given me a heart to understand.
  22. You have given me ears to hear and eyes to see,
  23. so that I may look at all your mighty deeds.
  24. You have given me a heart to know that you are the Lord, and that you are always with me.
  25. You have given me a heart to know that you are the Lord, and that you are always with me.
  26. I will tell of your greatness to all my people; I will praise you all my life.
  27. The humble will see this and be glad; you who seek God, take heart.
  28. For the Lord has heard the poor and has not turned away from them. He has heard the cry of the needy.
  29. The Lord will be their helper and will not abandon them. He will give them strength and will not let them be crushed.
  30. The Lord will be their helper and will not abandon them. He will give them strength and will not let them be crushed.
