Psalm 102 good news bible
Here is Psalm 102 in the Good News Bible (GNB):
Psalm 102
A prayer of an afflicted person
- Lord, listen to my prayer! Listen to my cry for help!
- In your presence, I am helpless, like a bird in the hands of a hunter.
- My enemies taunt me, and those who hate me are strong.
- They say, "God has abandoned him; he is no longer his concern."
- But you, Lord, are my hope; I will praise you all my life,
- for you have lifted me up and not let my enemies rejoice over me.
- You have helped me in my distress; you have not abandoned me to the will of my foes.
- I will tell of your faithfulness and praise you all my life,
- for you have lifted me up and not let my enemies rejoice over me.
- You have clothed me with strength and given me a new heart.
- You have not given me up to death, nor have you let your servant faint.
- You have given me hope when I was losing heart, and you have lifted me up when I was faint.
- I will sing of your love and justice; I will praise you all my life.
- I will tell of your greatness to all my people; I will praise you all my life.
- You have done great things, Lord; you have done mighty deeds.
- You have given me wisdom and knowledge; you have given me a heart to understand.
- You have given me ears to hear and eyes to see,
- so that I may look at all your mighty deeds.
- I will meditate on your mighty deeds, and I will tell of your greatness.
- You have done great things, Lord; you have done mighty deeds.
- You have given me wisdom and knowledge; you have given me a heart to understand.
- You have given me ears to hear and eyes to see,
- so that I may look at all your mighty deeds.
- You have given me a heart to know that you are the Lord, and that you are always with me.
- You have given me a heart to know that you are the Lord, and that you are always with me.
- I will tell of your greatness to all my people; I will praise you all my life.
- The humble will see this and be glad; you who seek God, take heart.
- For the Lord has heard the poor and has not turned away from them. He has heard the cry of the needy.
- The Lord will be their helper and will not abandon them. He will give them strength and will not let them be crushed.
- The Lord will be their helper and will not abandon them. He will give them strength and will not let them be crushed.
