Police uncover baby factory in ogun rescue 12 inmates

A shocking and disturbing discovery!

According to reports, the Ogun State Police Command has uncovered a "baby factory" in the state, where 12 inmates, including pregnant women and children, were rescued. The discovery was made during a raid on a building in the Ijebu-Ode area of the state.

The police said the victims were being held captive and forced to have babies, which were then sold to desperate couples. The babies were allegedly being sold for between N1 million and N2 million each.

The police commissioner, Lanre Bankole, said the victims were rescued during a sting operation carried out by the police and other security agencies. He added that the suspects, including the owner of the building, have been arrested and are being interrogated.

This is a horrific case of human trafficking and exploitation, and it's heartening to see the police taking action to rescue the victims and bring the perpetrators to justice.

It's also a reminder of the need for greater awareness and action to combat human trafficking, which is a serious violation of human rights and a threat to the well-being of individuals and communities.

I hope the victims receive the necessary care and support, and that the perpetrators face the full weight of the law.
