Panic as crocodile blocks hospital entrance
BREAKING NEWS
A bizarre and terrifying scene unfolded at a hospital in [City] today when a massive crocodile suddenly appeared at the entrance, blocking the way for patients and staff.
Eyewitnesses described the chaos as the 12-foot-long reptile, estimated to be around 50 years old, emerged from a nearby storm drain and made its way onto the hospital grounds.
"I was on my way to visit my grandmother when I saw this... this monster just sitting there, blocking the entrance," said patient Jane Doe. "I was in shock. I didn't know what to do."
Hospital staff and security personnel were initially caught off guard, but they quickly sprang into action to try and safely remove the crocodile.
"We're doing everything we can to ensure the safety of our patients and staff," said hospital spokesperson Dr. John Smith. "We're working with local wildlife experts to humanely relocate the crocodile and restore access to the hospital."
The crocodile, identified as a saltwater crocodile, is a protected species in the region and is known for its aggressive behavior when threatened.
"It's a very rare and unusual sighting," said Dr. Jane Johnson, a local wildlife expert. "Saltwater crocodiles are not typically found in urban areas, and it's a testament to the fact that our ecosystem is still connected and fragile."
The hospital has been evacuated, and patients are being treated at nearby facilities. The incident is still under investigation, and authorities are working to determine how the crocodile ended up at the hospital.
In the meantime, residents are advised to exercise caution and avoid the area until the situation is resolved.
