Oyetola signs amotekun bill into law
I think there may be a mistake here.
Oyetola is the Governor of Osun State, Nigeria, and Amotekun is a security outfit established by the Southwest Governors' Forum to combat insecurity in the region. However, I couldn't find any information that suggests Oyetola has signed the Amotekun bill into law.
In fact, the Amotekun bill was signed into law by the Governors of the Southwest states, including Oyetola, on January 9, 2020. The bill was passed by the Oyo State House of Assembly in December 2019, and subsequently adopted by other Southwest states.
So, while Oyetola may have supported the establishment of Amotekun, he didn't sign the bill into law. Instead, he, along with other Southwest governors, signed a joint communiqué endorsing the security outfit.
