Osun guber supreme court affirms gov oyetolas election

I think there may be some misinformation here.

The Supreme Court of Nigeria has not yet made a decision on the Osun State governorship election. The election was held on July 16, 2022, and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner.

However, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Ademola Adeleke, challenged the outcome of the election at the tribunal, which subsequently nullified the election and ordered a fresh one. The APC appealed the decision to the Court of Appeal, which upheld the tribunal's decision.

The case is currently pending at the Supreme Court, which has not yet made a final decision on the matter. Therefore, it is not accurate to say that the Supreme Court has affirmed Governor Oyetola's election.
