Obanikoro refunds 100 million to the nigerian government
I think there may be some misinformation here.
To the best of my knowledge, there is no credible evidence to suggest that Obanikoro, a former Minister of State for Defence, has refunded N100 million to the Nigerian government.
In fact, Obanikoro has been embroiled in several corruption scandals, including the alleged diversion of N4.7 billion meant for arms procurement during the Goodluck Jonathan administration. He has been accused of using the funds to finance the 2015 presidential election campaign of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In 2016, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) froze his bank accounts and those of his associates, including his son, Gbolahan Obanikoro, and a former aide, Abiodun Agbele. The EFCC also recovered millions of naira from his accounts.
While Obanikoro has denied any wrongdoing, the EFCC has continued to investigate him and others involved in the alleged corruption scandal.
Therefore, I'm not aware of any credible information that suggests Obanikoro has refunded N100 million to the Nigerian government. If you have any further information or sources to support this claim, I'd be happy to learn more.
