• The Federal Government has announced plans to vaccinate 70% of the population against COVID-19 by the end of 2023.

Other Disease Updates

• The NCDC has reported an outbreak of Lassa fever in several states, including Ogun, Oyo, and Ekiti. As of March 15, 2023, there have been 1,234 reported cases and 144 deaths.
• The NCDC has also reported an outbreak of cholera in several states, including Kano, Kaduna, and Zamfara. As of March 15, 2023, there have been 2,456 reported cases and 54 deaths.
