Nlc strike college of education lecturers yet to resume

It appears that the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) strike by College of Education lecturers has not yet been called off, and they have not resumed work.

The NLC had embarked on a strike in April 2022, demanding better working conditions, improved salaries, and the implementation of the National Minimum Wage Act. The strike was called off in May 2022, but the College of Education lecturers, who are members of the Academic Staff Union of Colleges of Education (ASUCE), had not returned to work.

The lecturers are still on strike, and their union has been protesting the non-implementation of the agreement reached with the government. The strike has affected the academic activities of the colleges of education, and students are still at home.

The NLC and the government are still negotiating to resolve the issues, but a resolution has not been reached yet. The lecturers are demanding better working conditions, improved salaries, and the implementation of the National Minimum Wage Act, among other things.

It is unclear when the strike will be called off, but the lecturers are determined to continue their strike until their demands are met.
