Nigerias coronavirus cases rises to 12 with four new confirmations
According to reports, Nigeria has recorded four new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 12.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced the new cases on March 24, 2020, stating that the patients were detected in Lagos and Abuja, the country's capital.
The breakdown of the new cases is as follows:
- Lagos: 2 cases
- Abuja: 2 cases
The NCDC also reported that the patients are currently receiving treatment and are in stable condition.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 12, with 2 deaths and 2 recoveries.
The Nigerian government has taken several measures to contain the spread of the virus, including:

- Closing schools and non-essential businesses
