Nigeria super eagles new coach

As of my knowledge cutoff in 2022, the new coach of the Nigerian national football team, the Super Eagles, is José Santos Peseiro. He was appointed in January 2022, replacing Gernot Rohr, who had been the team's coach since 2016.

José Santos Peseiro is a Portuguese football coach who has previously managed several clubs in Portugal and abroad, including Sporting CP, Vitória Guimarães, and Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia. He has also coached the Portuguese national team's under-21 and under-20 teams.

Peseiro's appointment was announced by the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) on January 16, 2022, and he was tasked with leading the team to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
