Latest Recruitment Update:
The Nigeria Police Force has announced the commencement of recruitment for Constables (Assistant Superintendent of Police II) and Cadets (Superintendent of Police) into the Force. The recruitment exercise is open to all qualified Nigerians.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the recruitment, applicants must:
- Be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
- Be between the ages of 18 and 25 years for Constables and 18 and 30 years for Cadets.
- Have a minimum of 5 credits in O'Level, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Have a Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) from a recognized institution.
- Be physically and mentally fit.

Applicants can apply online through the Nigeria Police Force website: www.policerecruitment.gov.ng.
Important Dates:
- Online application starts: 14th February 2023
- Online application closes: 14th March 2023
- Screening exercise: 20th March 2023 - 31st March 2023
- Medical examination: 1st April 2023 - 15th April 2023
- Final selection: 16th April 2023 - 30th April 2023
Note:
- Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for the screening exercise.
- Candidates are advised to apply early to avoid technical issues.
- The Nigeria Police Force will not request payment from applicants at any stage of the recruitment process.
Other News:
- The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, has assured that the recruitment exercise will be transparent and free from bias.
- The Force has also announced plans to establish a Police Academy in each of the six geopolitical zones of the country.
