Nigeria police new salary structure 2021
The Nigerian Police Force (NPF) has a new salary structure for 2021, which was announced by the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, in August 2021. The new salary structure is as follows:

- Constable: N30,000 - N40,000 per month
- Corporal: N40,000 - N60,000 per month
- Sergeant: N60,000 - N80,000 per month
- Inspector: N80,000 - N100,000 per month
- Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP): N100,000 - N120,000 per month
- Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP): N120,000 - N140,000 per month
- Superintendent of Police (SP): N140,000 - N160,000 per month
- Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP): N160,000 - N180,000 per month
- Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP): N180,000 - N200,000 per month
- Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP): N200,000 - N220,000 per month
- Commissioner of Police (CP): N220,000 - N240,000 per month
- Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG): N240,000 - N260,000 per month
- Deputy Inspector-General of Police (DIG): N260,000 - N280,000 per month
- Inspector-General of Police (IGP): N280,000 - N300,000 per month
Allowances
In addition to the basic salary, police officers are also entitled to various allowances, including:
- Housing Allowance: N30,000 - N50,000 per month
- Transport Allowance: N20,000 - N30,000 per month
- Uniform Allowance: N10,000 - N20,000 per month
- Duty Tour Allowance: N10,000 - N20,000 per month
- Other Allowances: N10,000 - N20,000 per month
