Nigeria new president 2023
The 2023 Nigerian presidential election is scheduled to take place on February 25, 2023. As of now, the following individuals have declared their intention to run for the office of the President of Nigeria:
- Bola Tinubu (All Progressives Congress, APC) - Former Governor of Lagos State
- Atiku Abubakar (Peoples Democratic Party, PDP) - Former Vice President of Nigeria
- Peter Obi (Labour Party, LP) - Former Governor of Anambra State
- Rabiu Kwankwaso (New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP) - Former Governor of Kano State
- Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed (New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP) - Senator and former Governor of Kaduna State
- Kingsley Moghalu (YPP) - Former Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria
- Ahmed Datti (African Democratic Congress, ADC) - Former Governor of Kano State
- Omoyele Sowore (African Action Congress, AAC) - Human rights activist and former presidential candidate
- Dumebi Kachikwu (Abundant Nigeria Renewal Party, ANRP) - Businessman and former presidential candidate
- Adewole Adebayo (Social Democratic Party, SDP) - Businessman and former presidential candidate
