You're referring to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) survey conducted by the Nigerian government. According to the survey, Nigeria requires an estimated N350 billion (approximately $950 million USD) to attain the SDGs.

The SDGs are a set of 17 goals adopted by the United Nations in 2015 to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure peace and prosperity for all. The goals are:

  1. No Poverty
  2. Zero Hunger
  3. Good Health and Well-being
  4. Quality Education
  5. Gender Equality
  6. Clean Water and Sanitation
  7. Affordable and Clean Energy
  8. Decent Work and Economic Growth
  9. Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure
  10. Reduced Inequalities
  11. Sustainable Cities and Communities
  12. Responsible Consumption and Production
  13. Climate Action
  14. Life Below Water
  15. Life On Land
  16. Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions
  17. Partnerships for the Goals

The survey, which was conducted by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), aimed to assess Nigeria's progress towards achieving the SDGs. The survey found that Nigeria requires significant investment to bridge the gap between its current development trajectory and the SDGs.

The estimated N350 billion required to attain the SDGs includes funding for various sectors such as:

  1. Education: N120 billion (approximately $330 million USD) to improve access to quality education, particularly for out-of-school children and girls.
  2. Healthcare: N80 billion (approximately $220 million USD) to strengthen the healthcare system, improve access to healthcare services, and reduce maternal and child mortality.
  3. Infrastructure: N60 billion (approximately $165 million USD) to improve access to clean water, sanitation, and energy.
  4. Agriculture: N40 billion (approximately $110 million USD) to improve agricultural productivity, enhance food security, and promote rural development.
  5. Social Protection: N20 billion (approximately $55 million USD) to strengthen social protection programs, particularly for vulnerable groups such as the poor, women, and children.

The survey highlights the need for increased investment in human development, infrastructure, and social protection to achieve the SDGs in Nigeria.
