Nigeria build dams 3 federal universities
I think there may be a slight misunderstanding. Nigeria has built many dams, but it's not accurate to say that it has built dams as federal universities.
Dams are structures built across rivers or streams to control the flow of water, store water for irrigation, drinking water, or hydroelectric power generation. Federal universities, on the other hand, are institutions of higher learning that offer academic programs and research opportunities.
Nigeria has built several dams, including:
- Kainji Dam: A hydroelectric dam located on the Niger River in Niger State, which was completed in 1968.
- Jebba Dam: A hydroelectric dam located on the Niger River in Kwara State, which was completed in 1985.
- Shiroro Dam: A hydroelectric dam located on the Kaduna River in Niger State, which was completed in 1990.
- Zungeru Dam: A hydroelectric dam located on the Kaduna River in Niger State, which was completed in 2018.
As for federal universities, Nigeria has a total of 41 federal universities, which are established and funded by the federal government. Some of the federal universities in Nigeria include:
- University of Lagos
- University of Ibadan
- University of Benin
- Ahmadu Bello University
- University of Nigeria, Nsukka
These universities offer a wide range of academic programs, including undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, as well as research opportunities.
