The New York Time Zone is Eastern Standard Time (EST) during standard time and Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) during daylight saving time.

To set the time zone on a Windows 10 device:

  1. Click on the Start button and select Settings.
  2. Click on Time & Language.
  3. Click on Date & time.
  4. Click on the Time zone dropdown menu and select (Eastern Standard Time) or (Eastern Daylight Time) depending on the current time of year.

Alternatively, you can also set the time zone using the Command Prompt:

  1. Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.
  2. Type tzutil /l and press Enter to list all available time zones.
  3. Type tzutil /s "Eastern Standard Time" or tzutil /s "Eastern Daylight Time" depending on the current time of year, and press Enter to set the time zone.

Note: You can also use the Windows 10 Settings app to set the time zone. To do this:

  1. Click on the Start button and select Settings.
  2. Click on Time & Language.
  3. Click on Date & time.
  4. Click on the Time zone dropdown menu and select (Eastern Standard Time) or (Eastern Daylight Time) depending on the current time of year.

It's worth noting that Windows 10 will automatically adjust for daylight saving time (DST) if the time zone is set to Eastern Standard Time (EST) or Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).
