New thor movie
You're excited about the new Thor movie! Here's what I know so far:
Thor: Love and Thunder
The fourth installment in the Thor franchise is scheduled to be released on July 8, 2022. The movie will be directed by Taika Waititi, who also directed Thor: Ragnarok.
Plot
The movie will follow Thor (Chris Hemsworth) as he tries to find inner peace after the events of Avengers: Endgame. However, his plans are disrupted when a new threat emerges in the form of Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), a powerful villain who seeks to eliminate all gods.
New Characters
The movie will introduce two new characters:
- Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) returns as the Mighty Thor, wielding the hammer Mjolnir.
- Korg (Taika Waititi) will be back, along with his Kronan friend, Miek.
Returning Characters
Other characters from the previous Thor movies will also return, including:
- Thor (Chris Hemsworth)
- Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson)
- Bruce Banner/Hulk (Mark Ruffalo)
- Lady Sif (Jaimie Alexander)
Expectations
Fans are excited to see the return of Thor, Jane Foster, and the Guardians of the Galaxy. The movie is expected to have a similar tone to Thor: Ragnarok, with plenty of humor, action, and heart.
