A new Star Trek movie! Here's some exciting news:

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds

In January 2022, Paramount+ announced a new Star Trek series, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, which will serve as a spin-off of the original Star Trek series. The show will follow the adventures of Captain Christopher Pike (played by Anson Mount) and his crew on the USS Enterprise, set about 10 years before the events of the original Star Trek series.

The series will explore the early days of Captain Pike's command of the Enterprise, as well as his relationships with his crew, including Number One (played by Rebecca Romijn) and Spock (played by Ethan Peck). The show will also delve into the mysteries of the galaxy and the Federation's role in it.

Star Trek: Discovery

Meanwhile, the fourth season of Star Trek: Discovery is currently in production, with a release date expected in 2023. The show will continue to follow the adventures of Captain Burnham (played by Sonequa Martin-Green) and her crew as they navigate the galaxy and face new threats.

Star Trek: Picard
