New service chiefs in nigeria 2021

As of 2021, the new service chiefs in Nigeria are:

1. Chief of Defence Staff (CDS): General Lucky Irabor (Major General)
   • Appointed on January 26, 2021, to replace General Abayomi Olonisakin
2. Chief of Army Staff (COAS): Lieutenant General Ibrahim Attahiru
   • Appointed on January 26, 2021, to replace Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai
3. Chief of Naval Staff (CNS): Vice Admiral Awwal Gambo
   • Appointed on January 26, 2021, to replace Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas
4. Chief of Air Staff (CAS): Air Marshal Isiaka Oladayo Amao
   • Appointed on January 26, 2021, to replace Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar

These appointments were made by President Muhammadu Buhari on January 26, 2021, following the retirement of the previous service chiefs.
