New senators

Here is a list of the new senators who were sworn in on January 3, 2021, following the 2020 United States Senate elections:

  1. Jon Ossoff (D-GA) - Won the special election to fill the seat vacated by Johnny Isakson.
  2. Raphael Warnock (D-GA) - Won the special election to fill the seat vacated by Kelly Loeffler.
  3. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) - Defeated incumbent Doug Jones.
  4. Cynthia Lummis (R-WY) - Defeated incumbent John Barrasso in the Republican primary, but was re-elected in the general election.
  5. Roger Marshall (R-KS) - Defeated incumbent Pat Roberts.
  6. Mark Kelly (D-AZ) - Defeated incumbent Martha McSally.
  7. John Hickenlooper (D-CO) - Defeated incumbent Cory Gardner.
  8. Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) - Defeated incumbent Ron Johnson.
  9. Maggie Hassan (D-NH) - Defeated incumbent Susan Collins.
  10. Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV) - Defeated incumbent Dean Heller.
