New salary scale for nigeria police
The Nigerian Police Force (NPF) has a salary scale that is determined by the Federal Government of Nigeria. The salary scale is based on the Consolidated Police Salary Structure (CPSS) and is applicable to all police officers in the country.

Allowances:
In addition to the salary scale, police officers in Nigeria also receive various allowances, including:
- Housing Allowance: 20% of basic salary
- Transport Allowance: 10% of basic salary
- Uniform Allowance: 5% of basic salary
- Danger Allowance: 10% of basic salary
- Duty Tour Allowance: 10% of basic salary
- Other Allowances: 5% of basic salary
Total Emoluments:
The total emoluments for a police officer in Nigeria would be the sum of the basic salary and the various allowances. For example, an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) with a basic salary of N1, 108,000 would have a total emolument of:
N1, 108,000 (basic salary) + N218,400 (housing allowance) + N110,800 (transport allowance) + N54,400 (uniform allowance) + N110,800 (danger allowance) + N110,800 (duty tour allowance) + N54,400 (other allowances) = N2, 062,400 per annum.
