A new Resident Evil game! That's exciting news!

As of now, Capcom has announced several Resident Evil games in development, including:

  1. Resident Evil Village (formerly known as Resident Evil 8): This is the latest installment in the mainline series, set to release on May 7, 2021, for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. The game takes place in a rural village in Eastern Europe, where Ethan Winters must face a new threat.
  2. Resident Evil Re:Verse: This is a multiplayer-focused game that reimagines the classic Resident Evil 6 game with new gameplay mechanics and a new storyline. It's set to release in 2022 for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
  3. Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness: This is an animated series that serves as a sequel to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. It follows Ethan Winters and his daughter, Rose, as they face a new threat in a post-apocalyptic world. The series is set to release on Netflix in 2021.
  4. Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City: This is a live-action film reboot of the Resident Evil franchise, directed by Johannes Roberts. The movie takes place in 1998, shortly after the events of the first Resident Evil game, and follows a group of characters as they try to survive in a zombie-infested Raccoon City. The film is set to release on November 24, 2021.
