The cost of a new passport book or passport card varies depending on the type of application, the applicant's age, and the expedited service option chosen. Here are the current fees for a new passport book or passport card:

• Adult Passport Book (16 and older):
  • Application fee: $110
  • Execution fee (paid to the acceptance agent): $35
  • Expedited service fee (optional): $60 Total: $205 (standard processing) or $265 (expedited processing)
• Child Passport Book (15 and younger):
  • Application fee: $80
  • Execution fee (paid to the acceptance agent): $35
  • Expedited service fee (optional): $60 Total: $175 (standard processing) or $235 (expedited processing)

Passport Card Fees:

• Adult Passport Card:
  • Application fee: $30
  • Execution fee (paid to the acceptance agent): $35
  • Expedited service fee (optional): $60 Total: $125 (standard processing) or $185 (expedited processing)
• Child Passport Card (15 and younger):
  • Application fee: $15
