New nnpc boss

You're referring to the new Group Managing Director (GMD) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), the state-owned oil company in Nigeria.

As of March 2022, the new GMD of NNPC is Mele Kyari. He took over from Maikanti Baru, who retired on July 7, 2020. Kyari is a Nigerian engineer and petroleum expert with over 27 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He was previously the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Upstream Division of NNPC.

Under his leadership, NNPC is expected to focus on increasing oil production, improving the efficiency of the corporation, and enhancing the overall performance of the Nigerian oil and gas industry.
