The new notes are designed to be more secure and difficult to counterfeit, with advanced security features that include:

- Micro-printing: Tiny text that is difficult to reproduce.

The CBN has also introduced a new polymer substrate for the new notes, which is more durable and resistant to wear and tear than the previous paper-based notes.
It's worth noting that the old notes are still valid and can be used for transactions, but it's recommended to use the new notes to avoid any inconvenience.
