New ndlea chairman

You're referring to the new Chairman of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Nigeria!

As of my knowledge cutoff, the new Chairman of NDLEA is Brigadier General Mohamed Buba Marwa (rtd). He was appointed by the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, in April 2021.

Brigadier General Marwa is a retired Nigerian Army officer with a strong background in counter-terrorism and counter-narcotics. He has been instrumental in leading various military operations against Boko Haram and other terrorist groups in the country.

As the new Chairman of NDLEA, Marwa has pledged to intensify efforts to combat drug trafficking and drug abuse in Nigeria, as well as to strengthen international cooperation to disrupt the supply of illegal drugs into the country.

Under his leadership, NDLEA has been working to improve its operations, including increasing seizures of illegal drugs, arresting and prosecuting drug traffickers, and providing treatment and rehabilitation services to drug addicts.
