  3. Watermarks: The new naira notes have watermarks that are visible when held against light. These watermarks feature the portrait of the country's first president, Nnamdi Azikiwe, and the national coat of arms.
  4. Security Threads: The notes have security threads that are woven into the paper. These threads glow pink when held under ultraviolet (UV) light.
  5. Raised Printing: The new naira notes feature raised printing, which gives the notes a tactile feel. This feature is designed to help visually impaired individuals identify the notes.
  6. Unique Numbering: Each note has a unique serial number that is printed in a unique font and color. This feature helps to prevent counterfeiting and makes it easier to track the authenticity of the notes.
  7. 3D Security Ribbon: The ₦1000 note features a 3D security ribbon that is woven into the paper. This ribbon features the image of the national coat of arms and glows pink when held under UV light.
