The highly anticipated new naira notes! Here are some samples of the redesigned Nigerian naira notes:

New N200 Note

• Obverse (front): Features a portrait of D. S. Josiah, a former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
• Reverse (back): Depicts a collage of Nigerian cultural heritage, including traditional clothing, music, and art.
• Security features: Watermark, security thread, and micro-printing.

New N500 Note

• Obverse (front): Features a portrait of Alhaji Aliko Dangote, a Nigerian business magnate and philanthropist.
• Reverse (back): Depicts a collage of Nigerian agricultural and industrial development, including a farm, a factory, and a train.
• Security features: Watermark, security thread, and micro-printing.

New N1000 Note

• Obverse (front): Features a portrait of Murtala Muhammed, a former Head of State of Nigeria.
• Reverse (back): Depicts a collage of Nigerian historical landmarks, including the National Assembly, the Supreme Court, and the Presidential Villa.
• Security features: Watermark, security thread, and micro-printing.

New N5000 Note

• Obverse (front): Features a portrait of Chief Obafemi Awolowo, a Nigerian statesman and politician.

New N10,000 Note
