New naira notes design pictures

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has released the new naira notes design, which features a new look and security features. Here are the pictures of the new naira notes:

New N200 Note

The new N200 note features a portrait of Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, a Nigerian statesman and philosopher, on the obverse (front) side. The reverse (back) side features a collage of Nigerian cultural heritage, including traditional clothing, masks, and other cultural symbols.

New N500 Note

The new N500 note features a portrait of Dr. Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, a Nigerian statesman and leader of the Biafran secessionist movement, on the obverse side. The reverse side features a collage of Nigerian agricultural and industrial development, including images of crops, livestock, and factories.

New N1000 Note

The new N1000 note features a portrait of Dr. Muhammadu Buhari, the current President of Nigeria, on the obverse side. The reverse side features a collage of Nigerian natural resources, including images of oil, gas, and agricultural products.

New N5000 Note

The new N5000 note features a portrait of Dr. Olufunmilayo Ransome-Kuti, a Nigerian educationist and women's rights activist, on the obverse side. The reverse side features a collage of Nigerian educational and cultural institutions, including images of universities, libraries, and museums.

New N10,000 Note

The new N10,000 note features a portrait of Dr. Dora Akunyili, a Nigerian pharmacist and former Director-General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), on the obverse side. The reverse side features a collage of Nigerian healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, including images of hospitals, clinics, and medical research facilities.
