New month december prayer
Here's a December prayer for the new month:
Dear God,
As we enter the month of December, we come before you with gratitude and praise. We thank you for the blessings of the past year and for the opportunities we've had to grow and learn.
As we approach the holiday season, we ask that you help us to keep our focus on what truly matters: love, kindness, and generosity. May we be mindful of those around us who may be struggling, and may we find ways to show them your love and compassion.
May our homes be filled with joy and laughter, and may our hearts be filled with your peace and presence. May we remember the true meaning of Christmas and the gift of your son, Jesus Christ, who came to bring light and hope to a world in darkness.
As we look to the new year, we ask that you guide us and direct us. May we be wise and discerning in our decisions, and may we always seek to honor and glorify you.
Thank you for all that you do for us, dear God. We are grateful for your love and your presence in our lives.
Amen.
