  2. Security thread: A thin strip of paper that glows when held under UV light.
  3. Raised print: The numerals "1000", "500", and "200" on the respective notes have raised print.
  4. Microprinting: The words "CENTRAL BANK OF NIGERIA" and "NIGERIA" are printed in microscript on the notes.
