New media writing prize
The New Media Writing Prize is an annual award that recognizes and celebrates innovative and outstanding writing in digital media. The prize is open to writers from around the world and is judged by a panel of experts in the field of new media writing.
The prize was established in 2010 by the New Media Writing Prize Committee, a group of writers, academics, and industry professionals who are dedicated to promoting and supporting new media writing. The prize is sponsored by the University of Lincoln's School of English and the National Centre for Writing.
The prize is open to writers who have published their work online, including writers of interactive fiction, digital poetry, and other forms of new media writing. The prize is judged on the basis of the quality and originality of the writing, as well as its technical execution and overall impact.
The prize is awarded in two categories: the Main Prize and the Student Prize. The Main Prize is open to writers of all ages and backgrounds, while the Student Prize is open to students who are currently enrolled in a degree program or have recently graduated.
