New lng projects
Here are some new LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) projects that have been announced or are under development:
- Rovuma LNG Project, Mozambique - ExxonMobil and Eni are developing a $20 billion LNG project in Mozambique, with a capacity of 15 million tonnes per annum (MTPA).
- Coral FLNG Project, Australia - Shell is developing a floating LNG project in Western Australia, with a capacity of 3.6 MTPA.
- Papua LNG Project, Papua New Guinea - ExxonMobil and Oil Search are developing a $13 billion LNG project in Papua New Guinea, with a capacity of 9.5 MTPA.
- Kipper Ties LNG Project, Australia - Santos is developing a $10 billion LNG project in Western Australia, with a capacity of 3.5 MTPA.
- Barossa LNG Project, Australia - Santos is developing a $10 billion LNG project in Northern Australia, with a capacity of 3.5 MTPA.
- Gorgon LNG Expansion Project, Australia - Chevron is expanding its Gorgon LNG project in Western Australia, with a capacity of 3.5 MTPA.
- North West Shelf LNG Project, Australia - Woodside is developing a $10 billion LNG project in Western Australia, with a capacity of 3.5 MTPA.
- Caspian LNG Project, Kazakhstan - Eni and Total are developing a $10 billion LNG project in Kazakhstan, with a capacity of 10 MTPA.
- Sakhalin-2 LNG Project, Russia - Gazprom is developing a $10 billion LNG project in Russia, with a capacity of 10 MTPA.
- Arctic LNG 2 Project, Russia - Novatek is developing a $20 billion LNG project in Russia, with a capacity of 19.8 MTPA.
- Krytos LNG Project, Greece - Energean is developing a $1.5 billion LNG project in Greece, with a capacity of 2.5 MTPA.
- FIDELIS LNG Project, South Africa - Sasol is developing a $2.5 billion LNG project in South Africa, with a capacity of 3.7 MTPA.
- LNG Canada Project, Canada - Shell, Mitsubishi, and PetroChina are developing a $31 billion LNG project in British Columbia, Canada, with a capacity of 14 MTPA.
- Kitimat LNG Project, Canada - Apache and EOG Resources are developing a $10 billion LNG project in British Columbia, Canada, with a capacity of 10 MTPA.
- Goldboro LNG Project, Canada - Pieridae Energy is developing a $4.5 billion LNG project in Nova Scotia, Canada, with a capacity of 2.2 MTPA.
