New instagram post size
Instagram has updated its post size requirements! As of November 2021, the new Instagram post size requirements are:
Image Posts:
- Minimum size: 1080 x 1350 pixels (aspect ratio: 4:5)
- Maximum size: 1080 x 1920 pixels (aspect ratio: 9:16)
Video Posts:
- Minimum size: 1080 x 1920 pixels (aspect ratio: 9:16)
- Maximum size: 1080 x 1920 pixels (aspect ratio: 9:16)
Stories:
- Minimum size: 1080 x 1920 pixels (aspect ratio: 9:16)
- Maximum size: 1080 x 1920 pixels (aspect ratio: 9:16)
IGTV:
- Minimum size: 1080 x 1920 pixels (aspect ratio: 9:16)
- Maximum size: 1080 x 1920 pixels (aspect ratio: 9:16)
Reels:
- Minimum size: 1080 x 1920 pixels (aspect ratio: 9:16)
- Maximum size: 1080 x 1920 pixels (aspect ratio: 9:16)
Carousel Posts:
- Minimum size: 1080 x 1350 pixels (aspect ratio: 4:5)
- Maximum size: 1080 x 1920 pixels (aspect ratio: 9:16)
IG Live:
- Minimum size: 1080 x 1920 pixels (aspect ratio: 9:16)
- Maximum size: 1080 x 1920 pixels (aspect ratio: 9:16)
Keep in mind that these are the recommended sizes, and Instagram may still allow posts with slightly smaller or larger dimensions. However, using these sizes will ensure the best possible display and engagement on your posts.
Remember to always check the Instagram app or the Instagram Business Profile to confirm the post size requirements, as they may change over time.
