New incognito
You're looking to start fresh with a new incognito browser profile!
Incognito mode, also known as private browsing, is a feature in Google Chrome and other browsers that allows you to browse the internet without storing any data from your browsing session. This includes:
- Cookies: Incognito mode doesn't store cookies, which are small text files that websites use to remember your preferences and login information.
- History: Your browsing history is not saved, so you won't have any records of the websites you visited.
- Cache: The cache, which stores temporary files and images, is cleared after each browsing session.
- Autofill data: Incognito mode doesn't store your autofill data, such as login credentials and credit card information.
To create a new incognito profile in Google Chrome:
- Open Google Chrome and click on the three vertical dots in the upper right corner.
- Click on "New incognito window" or press Ctrl + Shift + N (Windows/Linux) or Command + Shift + N (Mac).
- A new Chrome window will open with an incognito icon in the address bar.
- You can now browse the internet without storing any data from your session.
Note that incognito mode doesn't make you completely anonymous online. Websites can still track your IP address and other identifying information. If you're concerned about online privacy, consider using a VPN (Virtual Private Network) or a browser extension that provides additional privacy features.
