New glory sermon

Here's a sample sermon on the theme of "New Glory":

Title: "New Glory: A Fresh Start with God"

Text: Isaiah 43:18-19, 2 Corinthians 5:17

Introduction:

Have you ever felt like you're stuck in a rut? Like you're going through the motions of life, but nothing seems to be changing? Maybe you're feeling like you've lost your sense of purpose or direction. Maybe you're struggling with guilt, shame, or regret from past mistakes. Well, today I want to tell you that God is offering you a fresh start. A new beginning. A chance to experience a new glory in your life.

The Problem:

In Isaiah 43:18-19, God says, "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland." God is saying, "Don't get stuck in the past. Don't dwell on your mistakes or regrets. I am doing something new and exciting, and I want you to be a part of it!"

But often, we get stuck in the past because we're afraid to let go of what we know. We're afraid to take a risk and try something new. We're afraid to trust God and follow Him into the unknown. And as a result, we miss out on the new glory that God has for us.

The Solution:

But God is offering us a solution. In 2 Corinthians 5:17, Paul writes, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" When we put our faith in Jesus Christ, we become a new creation. We are given a fresh start. We are given a new identity. We are given a new purpose.

And this new creation is not just about us; it's about God. It's about His glory. When we experience a new glory in our lives, it's not just about us; it's about God being glorified. It's about God being lifted up and exalted in our lives.

The Promise:

So what does this new glory look like? It looks like a fresh start. It looks like a new beginning. It looks like a chance to experience God's presence and power in a new way. It looks like a chance to be used by God to bring glory to Himself.

And God is promising us that this new glory is available to us. He is promising us that we can experience a fresh start, a new beginning, a new creation. He is promising us that we can be used by Him to bring glory to Himself.

The Call:

So what's the call to action today? It's simple: trust God. Trust that He is doing something new and exciting in your life. Trust that He is offering you a fresh start. Trust that He is calling you to experience a new glory.

And when you do, you'll find that your life will never be the same again. You'll find that you'll be filled with a sense of purpose and direction. You'll find that you'll be empowered to live a life that honors God and brings glory to Him.

Conclusion:

So don't get stuck in the past. Don't dwell on your mistakes or regrets. Trust God and follow Him into the unknown. Experience a new glory in your life. And as you do, you'll find that you'll be living a life that is truly fulfilling and meaningful.
