New everton stadium capacity
The new Everton Stadium, also known as Goodison Park's successor, is currently under construction and is expected to have a capacity of approximately 52,888 seats. The stadium is being built on a site adjacent to the existing Goodison Park, and is scheduled to open in the 2023-2024 season.
The new stadium will feature a range of state-of-the-art facilities, including:
- A larger capacity than Goodison Park, which currently has a capacity of around 40,000 seats
- Improved sightlines and views for fans, with a design that ensures every seat has a clear view of the pitch
- Enhanced amenities, including more food and drink outlets, improved toilet facilities, and increased seating areas
- A larger and more modern press box, with improved facilities for media and broadcasting
- A new and improved away fans' section, with a larger capacity and improved facilities
The new stadium is being built as part of Everton's long-term plan to improve the club's infrastructure and facilities, and to provide a better experience for fans. The project is expected to cost around £500 million, and is being funded through a combination of private investment and public funding.
