New catholic cardinals
On August 27, 2022, Pope Francis announced the creation of 21 new cardinals, including several notable figures from around the world. Here are some of the new cardinals:

- Archbishop Paulo Sérgio Cutrim (Brazil): Archbishop of Brasília and a prominent figure in Brazilian Catholicism.
- Archbishop Peter Turkson (Ghana): Archbishop of Cape Coast and a former President of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace.
